500 Day Plan- Charting A Course for Building a Green Future in maryland
The Countdown is on!
June 21st 2025 marks 500 days until Election Day 2026, launching our campaign into its next critical phase. This milestone is both a celebration and a call to action, a chance to deepen our organizing, expand our outreach, and energize Marylanders around a vision that places people and the planet before profit and politics-as-usual.
Since our campaign’s official launch in January, we've traveled across Maryland, listening to the real issues affecting everyday people and building a movement rooted in bold solutions—climate justice, reparations, universal healthcare, public housing, and true democracy. Unlike the major parties funded by corporate interests, we are building a grassroots campaign to fundamentally transform Maryland politics, stepping outside the two-party system to create a meaningful alternative.
This Summer we build
Our comprehensive strategy outlines two primary goals: an intensive 100-day summer initiative and a robust 500-day roadmap. This summer, we'll establish core campaign infrastructure, raise critical funds, expand our volunteer network, introduce significant policy proposals, and enhance our visibility statewide. A centerpiece of our immediate efforts is an ambitious fundraising goal—we aim to raise $50,000 over the next 100 days to power our outreach and infrastructure needs.
Long-term, our roadmap focuses on building lasting organizational power in every Maryland county, running more Green candidates than ever, and securing 100,000 votes to ignite a statewide political transformation.
An Invitation
We invite every Marylander—disillusioned with the status quo—to download the plan, spend some time with it, and reach out with any ideas or questions. Together, let’s use these 500 days to lay the foundation for lasting change, empowering our communities to shape a future defined by justice, equity, and genuine democracy.
This campaign isn’t simply about one election—it's an opportunity to model a new kind of politics: transparent, inclusive, courageous, and deeply community-rooted. Every aspect of our work, from policy proposals to voter engagement, is part of building a multiparty democracy that is accountable, participatory, and reflective of Maryland’s diverse communities.
