Join us this month as we transition from looking forward to exploring and refining how we can move forward collectively. BRJA moderator Julia Scott will be joined by panelists Dottye Burt Markowitz, Andy Ellis, and Lawrence Grandpre. This is a 13th event you won’t want to miss!

Our first episode of the campaign livestream! We will discuss Maryland, our campaign, and the kind of organizing we need to do to win a better world!

We will gather from 6-8 PM to catch up with each other, reflect on the latest news, and kick off the 2026 election campaign.

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and collaboration between supporters of the Forward Party and the Ellis/Andrews Green Party campaign for Governor. This gathering is about more than one campaign—it’s about advancing a more responsive democracy in Maryland and making the case for a real multiparty system.

The campaign will join the Montgomery County Green Party! We’ll have a table at the festival — come by, say hi, and learn more about what we’re building for a Maryland that works for everyone.

There has never been a time when Black and non-Black people of color in the U.S. have been "safe." "When Push Comes to Shove" will explore the critical difference between immediate tactics and long-term strategies for collective action, safety, and security within these communities. We'll learn from the wisdom of elders and historical struggles, emphasizing the power of community connection and the importance of finding community organizations aligned with our vision for change. Join BRJA moderator Michelle Duberry and special guests Charly Carter and S. Rasheem as we discuss how to build collective power and resilience in the face of these particular challenges.

On Thursday, May 1st, we’ll be in the streets for May Day – standing with workers, and communities who are fighting back against injustice. Over 50 organizations have planned seven feeder marches and a big rally. You can get more information here .
