Stop the Data Centers
Maryland’s communities, our water, and the health of every person statewide are under attack by trillion dollar tech firms and the ultra wealthy. Maryland’s elected “leaders” are too afraid or too personally-invested in giving carte blanche to data center developers to stand up for Marylanders and our communities.
Don’t believe the hype from the Moore Administration: data centers are only as “inevitable” as the People allow them to be. Andy Ellis has a comprehensive policy to stop the data centers in Maryland.
End the corruption of the two-party system
Of the 4.3M registered voters in Maryland, Unaffiliated/Independent and Third Party voters make up the second largest voting block by party affiliation–even outnumbering Registered Republican voters. These voters are largely shut out of meaningful participation in our state and local government.
They are not alone, even registered Democrats and Republicans don’t trust local, state or federal government. Most voters look at both parties with disdain. Anger at the money influencing politics spans the political spectrum. Marylanders feel like their elected leaders aren’t working for us.
Andy Ellis has a plan for a Maryland model of multiparty and grassroots democracy that will make sure that politicians are accountable to voters, and that people have the power.

Maryland is one of the wealthiest states in the wealthiest country in human history. As of 2020, Maryland ranks in the top 5 for Median Household Income, Median Individual Income, Per Capita Income, and Household Income Percentile, and yet hundreds of thousands of Marylanders don’t feel like they have a voice or a choice in how incentives are rewarded, how public funds are distributed, or how budgets are balanced.
