Ways to Bring the Campaign to Your Community
We want to show up where you already gather. Here are some ideas—but don't let this list limit you. If you've got people and a place, we want to hear from you.

Your Living Room
Invite a few neighbors over. We'll bring the conversation.
This is as simple as it sounds: 5-15 people, your couch, no agenda. We'll talk about what matters to you. Housing, schools, healthcare, whatever's on your mind. No fundraising pitch, no formal presentation. Just a real conversation.
You provide: Your home and a few curious people.
A House Party
Want to help us hit our public financing goal? Host a gathering with a fundraising component.
This is more social. Food, drinks, friends. We'll mingle, share why we're running, and make the ask. It's a party first, politics second.
You provide: Your space, your network, snacks if you're feeling it.
A Public Space
Library meeting rooms are free. Community centers exist. Churches open their doors.
If you want to invite people beyond your immediate circle, we can do a more open event, town hall style. You reserve the room and help get the word out. We show up ready to listen and answer questions.
You provide: The room and some promotion.
Happy Hour
Pick a bar. Invite some people. We'll buy our own drinks and see where the conversation goes.
No structure, no speeches. Just a chance to meet us and see what we're about.
You provide: A spot and some friends.
A Community Event
Farmers market? Block party? Festival? Street fair?
Let us know about gatherings where we could set up a table or just walk around and talk to people. We want to be where your community already is.
You provide: The tip about the event. (Bonus: help with logistics if there's a vendor/tabling process.)
A Tour
Show us something.
Your workplace. Your farm. Your neighborhood. A site that illustrates something you care about. A problem, a success, something that needs attention.
We're not just asking for votes. We want to learn from you. If there's something you think we should see, we want to see it.
You provide: Access and your expertise.
A Speaking Slot
Got an organization meeting? A panel discussion? A conference? A community forum?
If your group wants to hear from us formally, we'll prepare remarks and participate in whatever format you've got.
You provide: The event details and what you'd like us to address.
A Protest, Rally, or March
Standing up for something? We want to stand with you.
If there's a rally, march, or demonstration happening in Maryland, let us know. Housing, labor, climate, civil rights, whatever the cause. We'll show up, not to take the mic, but to be present and add our voices.
You provide: The details. When, where, and what it's about.
An Important Meeting
City council hearing? Planning board session? School board meeting? Public comment on something that matters?
If there's an official meeting where community voices need to be heard, or where it would help to have candidates present, tell us about it. We want to witness what's happening in your community.
You provide: The meeting info and why it matters.
Something Else Entirely
Book club? Union meeting? Congregation? Workplace lunch? Neighborhood walk?
We mean it: we want to show up where you already gather. If you've got an idea, reach out. We'll figure it out together.

A month's notice is ideal, but reach out anyway. We'll do our best to make it work.
